Here are answers to our most “burning” questions:

1. Which cities & towns do you currently service for Oil Delivery (same-day or next-day), Kerosene Delivery (two-to-three day notice), and Burner Service (24/7/365)?

Coventry, Greene, Richmond, Cranston, Warwick, West Warwick, East Greenwich, North Kingstown, Exeter, West Greenwich, Hope, Hope Valley, Scituate & Johnston

2. How long will a tank of oil last when heating my house?

It is important to know the size of your oil tank when reading the fuel gauge
The average aboveground home heating oil tank is 275 gallons
Generally speaking, a full tank of heating oil will last between 6 and 8 weeks during the colder months
Several factors determine the amount of heating oil that a home will use throughout a given year, such as outside temperature, the home’s square footage, use of oil to heat water, how efficient your actual heating system is, and how the home is insulated
Any reputable heating oil company should be able to calculate your heating oil needs with knowledge of these factors
It is a good idea to never let your heating oil drop below 30 gallons

3. Does my heating oil burner need to be serviced every year?

It is recommended to have a service tune-up annually
Having the oil burner cleaned and tuned up every year will lessen the risk of having the heating system fail

4. What is the best time of year to buy heating oil for my home in Rhode Island?

Heating oil prices fluctuate throughout any given year and are subject to supply and demand
The summer months are best for buying heating oil for your home
A typical home can expect to save several hundred dollars off the yearly heating cost by buying oil in the summer months
August has been the best month to buy heating oil for the last five years

5. How long does it take to get heating oil delivered to my home?

We offer same-day delivery on orders placed before 12:00 PM, however Monday-Friday we can normally accommodate same-day deliveries on orders placed by 1:00 PM
